Sup ya'll

Ok so i have a friend who said softmod packs are different when it comes to safely getting onto xbox live.  So with my version Softmod.Installer.Deluxe.v2.0, i can just pop in Halo 2, reboot, then it should work safely?  

I have a friends subscription on a memory card, (he has an unmodded xbox) who is willing to let me use it, because we KNOW for sure that the account cant be banned for having modded xboxs....only the eeprom will be banned, as i take it.

So any suggestions or proofs would be greatly appreciated, or if anyone else used the Softmod.Installer.Deluxe.v2.0, if you could tell me what you did to make it work.
