Am I Still Banned?

Somewhere around a year ago, I messed up while accessing Xbox Live, and I got my xbox banned (suspended?) from xbox live.  Now I am anxious to reactivate it, but I am not sure if it is safe to try again, since it might ban my account as well.  Once an xbox is blocked, is it blocked forever?  If this is the case, it is possible to flash the eeprom for an unbanned one, right?

Yes, if your Xbox has been banned, it's banned forever.

To get back on Live, you'll need to flash an UNUSED eeprom to your Xbox, and install a new hard drive. If the hard drive is larger than a stock one, you'll need to get a new gamertag as well.
