I recently purchased a new eeprom to flash to my xbox so i could play live. Well I followed all the tutorials word for work using Config Magic 1.6 final to update the eeprom. Then when i try to go onto live it says the "Xbox live not found" error. My XYZ codes are

X: 0000-000D
Y: 00C2-0380
Z: 0000-0000

The weird thing is the dvd kit zone on my old eeprom was set to 1, but on this new one it was set to 0, so i tried changing it to 1 by editng the eeprom with config magic and it would update successfully but if i were to shut the xbox off for 15 minutes it would revert back to 0. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to fix this situation?
