Xbox Live Update Failed

Maybe when you used your auto installer, you tweaked some of the original dash files. Its just a guess since most of the auto installers are tested, for quality. Put one of the most recent games you have in and disconnect your internet connection. Then try to go on live and it should update your dash from your cd. At least I think thats how I did it a while ago. It might have a little different steps, but I think that should restore your original dash if it is indeed messed up.

Rumfinator you are banned for having such a mod.  MS is definately scanning specific points of the MOBO and when one is found you will nol onger have access to new information or play on live again.  The soft mod is not the way to go for you have to install a permanent fixture.  You cannot disable it in any fashion to presume a stealth mode at all.  You're done dude...sorry man.  If I were you I'd remove the TSOP or whatever you have and just get an (X-Chip solderless) or the solderless Xenium Gold for 60$. M$ Has become more cunning to snooping around in your system now more than ever.  Remember that all XBL members agreed to have M$ snoop around anytime they please.  I know that sucks doesn't it?
