whats wrong... it's helping people who are trying the contest. Not only does it block popups but it also allows you to search for images that you could use.

All images are original with the exception of the Master Chief and the santa hat, found here: Master Cheif and here: Santa Hat.

For those of you that care, the scene was almost completely rendered and modeled in Bryce, I added the lights on the Christmas Tree, as well as the X (created myself) in Photoshop, and modified the MC and hat in Photoshop as well. The image was a wopping 524288 polygons!!!!

P.S. - I was thinking about adding falling snow to the image, let me know if you think its a good idea

anyway here's where i got mine... and I worked a long time on these, to try to be creative, and make them look orginal... any way here are the links, of some of the pic I used.

for the first one I used this Santa

Besides some xbox graphics, I did the rest of it..

Ya, so I only spent 30 minutes on the damn piece, but I spent 6 years in photoshop and 1 year in 3dsmax so that I could make decent stuff. Then PS-kiddies comes along and copy/paste/edit original artwork from people with years and years more experience than me... and the PS-kiddies get credit for it. Original and new my ass.

as for any of the babies on this fourm... Yes alot of this is copy and paste... Yes, I also have been using PS for years, and I use bryce, and poser & a few others... but I didnt use any of them for this project, I used PhotoImpact.... And being creative can also come from using other photo's.. So for anyone who wants to cry about it... Dont submit anything... maybe you just cant copy and paste like the rest of us.... And Just for the record... I dont care if I win or Not... I Had Fun doing It....

Is there anywhere I can find a larger picture of the XS logo dude? Or can someone give me a tip on how to enlarge it without making it look like shit using fireworks or photoshop?

Why does this matter to you, mind ur owning fucking business. I didnt say nothing about your wallpaper... and i did a lot more than "drop a mountain picutre" lol. Would it make a difference if i went into halo took a ss of master cheif and used it... considering i didnt make the models, the maps, anything would i not be "stealing" someone elses work... please stop critising other peoples work to make your wallpaper look like it took more hard work and time, which doesnt really matter cuz this contest is about best looking.
