I Think My Pc Is Sick!
« on: October 27, 2003, 03:49:00 PM »

lately my PC has been aciting kinda strange.
Things keep dissappearing.  NOt files but icons and stuff.
one minute they will be ther then Ill look down and they are gone.
then a little later they will be back again.
sometimes when i open mozilla firebird (or anyother browser) then all the buttons are gone but if I run my mouse over where they should be sometimes they will appear.
Also in my toobar at the bottom sometimes the clock and other things will dissapear but when I run my mouse over them they come back.

Sometimes when a window opens it will show the top part with the close downsize and maximize buttons but the inside will be empty.  THen if I close it and reopen it everything is fine.

any help on what can be done to fix this?

do a backup, format c: and befor restoring anything from the backup run a virus check on it, if it dosent come up with anything and you still think there is a virus in it just restor what you need and redownload the rest.
