just need to know if i can use it? ive heard that MS will let you use it, but does it just start the billing without giving two free months, or will it go and give you the free 2 months anyways?

Most of them still work, it's just like any other trial, you get your two free months, and if you dont cancel it before the 2months are up, you get charged for a year.

That's not true. When you connect to live it will set your clock. The truth is some do some don't.

yes but have you tried them without setting the clock back? I have used several expired codes without setting the clock back.
