If Your Eeprom Is Already Married, When Do You Get Banned?

Hey

I have a box that I got from a kid (stock), then modded with an x2.6 and a larger hd.  The kid said it had never been on live, so I think the EEPROM/stock HD would not have been married.  I then went on to connect to live (unmodded) up to the part where it asks for the credit card no.

If the EEPROM of that xbox had already been married, would that box have been banned immediately (just from connecting to account setup??

I think it would it detect it by going that far yes.. but it takes a day or two to kick in, so maybe wait a couple days and try again and see what it says.
