well ive never heard of this before but i suppose you could, as long as you disconnect the modchip or turn it off after it boots, i think.

if you read farther into the tut it says to try point a19 then if that doesnt work try both at once.

i already had to perform the operation on my buddies xbox and it works like new.

flashing the TSOP should fix the problem, but you have to be able to boot fromt eh TSOP to flash it, try installing a 4 way switch (see diagram in my sig) and booting from each individual bank
