Loading modded maps onto Halo 2 would result in a ban. Bungie probably caught you with the modded map. I wouldn't go on Halo 2 ever with any modified map content.

you only get perm. banned from matchmaking for modding, you can still sign in and play customs, so you must have done something very wrong.

you shouldnt have been able to get to the Live sign opn with an unlocked HD unless you were using a hacked bios, this could also be what got you banned

We don't try to use any modded software on XBL. He did. His maps where modified from the original. He signed on with a hacked bios and modded maps. He got popped.

When the other guys on here sign on, they turn off their mod chips and remove modified maps. Thus, they're signing on with stock bios, stock dashboard, and stock game running from the dvd drive. In other words, their setup looks, acts, and in fact IS totally stock while playing online.

I'm with all the guys who are against cheating as well. I can't stand a cheater who just can't cut it while playing online. So they resort to cheating so they can have some type of advantage over everyone. I don't understand why would you even want to take all the fun out of the game by doing that crap anyway. When everyone is equal it is very, very fun and trouble free. I'm glad you're banned forever too and stay banned. That goes out to all of you cheat headz out there. Don't even come to the forum for help because were not helping you anymore ever!
