if you have not been banned/flagged in the past then you wouldnt even need a new gamertag

Well, I think I have been banned.  I don't know about the GT, but I'll do it as a precaution if needed.

Anyways, my current problem is that I try to recover my XBL account (never backed up the account really... I think at least), but it won't connect to XBL.  Someone at the SmartXX Forum said to assume I was banned.

The XYZ code thing turned out true too i think.  I had a C2 in my Y code at the right spot, which I think means I'm banned.

Am I banned?  This is happening with the RETAIL HD, which I reformatted using Slayer's EAI.

Also, does a new GT mean a new subscription code?  Does the code get flagged too?
