your old hard drive is locked to your old motherbaord, you can unlock it in a PC

if its an upgraded HD try the passwords XBOXSCENE or TEAMASSEMBLY

if its a stock HD look for tutorials on unlocking the WDs or non-slim seagates

if its a slim seagate i believe you need a copy of your eeprom
