Run the network settings wizard and make sure everything comes back ok.  It may be that your settings are incorrect and it can't connect to the XBL servers.

It seems that I set up an account on  th emoputer for XBLive but I did not see anywhere to enter my CC info.  I have been trying various was to get on.  And it seems that I AM on XBlive.  When I go thru the connection troubleshooter after stting the IP to automatic and the DNS to auto it will go all the way thru the set up and say that Im connected.  But for some reason I can not either create a account or logon to the new account I created...This sucks
