Extract Xbl Account From Action Replay?
« on: April 11, 2006, 10:01:00 PM »

I know its not possible to copy it from the xbox to the computer, but what about off an action replay memory card?  The accounts don't show up in the main AR interface, and the device doesn't so up as a USB device so I can't just see the files on it.  Any ideas or is there a tool for this somewhere?

Then you're probably gonna have to mod your xbox, FTP it, and transfer the XBL account.

Dude, I have a ton of modded Xboxes, and you can't FTP the account from an Xbox to the computer in case you didn't know.

theres no way to copy the account via FTP or any other PC-based method, the account is embedded in the FATx filesystem, the only way you might be able to keep a backup on your PC is if you dump a .bin of the AR flash drive, then restore it back to the AR when you want the account again, and this might not even work

the best thing to do is just use account recovery through the MS dash if you ever lose the account
