Maybe you should have followed Bungies rule that says "no modded H2 content on the HD at all". Bottom line, you had other files in the same folder that the HD maps are in. You can't expect Bungie to tell the difference between cheating and "cool" modding.

In the future, either get a second box to play on Live or delete the content EVERY time you sign into live and FTP it back when your done.

well they didn't ban my eeprom which is good. i can still play other games and custom games. i am gonna make sure there is nothing in my halo 2 folders now. screw mimesis or i must disbale before i play. here is what i got from bungie. lol those pricks scanned my TDATA folder.

"According to our records this account was flagged as playing with modified content.  This can happen for a variety of reasons beyond modifying our data files on your Xbox.  Modified profiles are often used and there is the possibility that you played on a friend’s Xbox that was deliberately modified. This is a permanent ban that will affect all accounts that play on your Xbox.

The only resolution is to completely clean all Halo 2 files off of your Xbox, and to get a new Xbox Live account.  At this time there is no appeal process. "

well my fault for having mimesis maps in that TDATA folder where the maps are. i see watcha mean about the 'cool mods' and hacking mods they cant tell.
