A couple of months ago, I Cancelled my Xbox live account because I was tired of paying for it when I wasnt even playing it. At the time, I wasnt even planning on playing it again until I got a 360. But I cant wait that long and I really want to play again. I miss it. So I was wondering if I could get my account back with account recovery? Just for fun, I tried signing up again with my old gamertag, but it said it was unavailable.

try calling 1-800-4-MY-XBOX (USA) and ask them, although i doubt you can get your old GT back, you cna certainly open a new account though

Yeah, I know I could get a new one, I was just wondering if I could get my old one back. I think I'll just let it go and get a new one.
