Hello, i got ms banned a few months and just decided to forget about it. But now, i decided to get back onto live just for the fun of it.  I bought 5 new eeproms (3-1.0s, 1 1.4 and 1 mystery version)  I put in the new eeprom successfully(version 1.4, my xbox is 1.1) with config magic. Then i signed on and made a new gamer tag.  I signed in an out a few times to make sure it was working correctly.  Then i had to FTP some stuff, i was being so careful that it didnt sign onto live or anything like then. And i try to sign on today, and i get the modified xbox waring So idk what happened, im pretty mad i got banned twice for doing nothing, so would I be wasting time doing the same, which is putting ina  new eeprom and trying again?

LIVE bans both your harddrive and your eeprom. my using the banned hdd while changin your eeprom your new eeprom is also banned now. now you must get another eeprom AND a new harddrive. oh and your live account hasnt been banned so you dont have to worry about that.

It hasn't been banned, but it has been flagged.  Only use stock HD's from now on unless you get another new GT.

if yo uused the same HD you used when you were banned befor ethat swhat got you banned

its also possible the eeprom you bought was not virgin

But why was i able to sign on and off again that night a few times? I got 3 more eeproms so can i change them everytime i wanna get on live for a night?  And i heard of "converting" 1.0 eeproms, how do you go upon doing that?

use a program called LiveInfo, a 1,0 eeprom can be converted to 1.1-1.5 and vice versa
