no i dont think so your going to need a new eeprom if you went online with your original hdd.u can find a new eeprom here look through the classifieds or i got my from          http://xbupgrade.com/

sorry 2 double post but you need new hdd/eeprom to go on xlive read marriage theory 101 in this fourm when did it i had to replace hdd/eeprom at same time cause softmodded hdd fried.
