I was wondering if it is possible to play a backup game on Xbox Live. Ya know, I wanna keep my original safe. If people can use softmods to hack Halo 2, it should be possibe to play a backup on Live too, right? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Two notions:

1) Xbox Live is only possible with the original BIOS
2) The original BIOS will only run original games

Ergo, playing copied games on Live is not possible.

You could have easily found this on the forum yourself.

Cmon now...keeping your original safe...who are you trying to kid... T-H-M is correct, Xbox Live checks to make sure you are using the orginal bios.
