well, the reason for asking is that I recently migrated from a 2/0,512 Mbit line to a 10/10 Mbit line. And this hasnt changed the frequency for me to host. Even if I can se the host is bad, (Like he is having 3 times as many frags as everybody else and laggy). What this let me to believe is, when waiting in the lobby for the game to begin, live is NOT doing a fair testing of speed. (But maybe ping, that would make sense, as I'm living a long way from US, where the most people I play with live)
Wot I want to know is how Xbox live pick the host for the game? I can't recall if I have stated my connection speed somewhere, when registering my account?! But if I have, how to change It.? I have this thought, that xbox live is not testing speed at all, but will give the host to the one stating the best speed. At his registration (False or true)?!?
I have read all I can find about the subject, but it seems like a black box, how live works? If I could choose between skill and sitting on top of the server, I know what I would choose
.Server guy takes the cake 2 out of 3 times.. I think this is bad, as I would like the best player to win.
