Bypassing Firewall On Xbox 360 And Xbox Live
« on: January 27, 2006, 07:36:00 AM »

So here's the deal.  I am at a military academy and I want to play some Xbox Live with my shiny new 360.  It came with the gold subscription etc.  The thing is, there's an evil firewall that blocks almost everything from ebaumsworld.com to playing World of Warcraft.  Now I own a SOCKS 5 proxy server and use SocksCAP on my computer to bypass the firewall when playing World of Warcraft.  I can also access restricted websites if I use this as my proxy in whatever internet browser I happen to use.

My question is whether I can somehow either use the proxy server or figure out a way to bypass the firewall when using Xbox Live on my Xbox 360?  Is there a way you can connect to Xbox Live through a proxy or something?  I'm OK with computers so don't be afraid to throw some jargon in there, if I don't know what it is I'll look it up.
