Ok i installed an x3ce chip in my box and could still use it on live (chip off). I wanted to get a new 160 gig hdd and i knew not to go on live again till i have a new eeprom. I bought the eeprom and got it in the mail from

Now i take my old account from my other(nonmodded) xbox on a memory card and when ever i try to sign on it says "could not reach xbox live" Am i banned, because i have no idea how this happend. both the hdd and eeprom have never been on live before. was it because i took the old gamertag (wasnt banned) and tried to play it on the upgraded hdd and eeprom? plz help im so confused!!!

I know it means theres a problem with the eeprom but i dont know why there would be a problem. And if it is the eeprom does that meen im banned?
