ya so i just cancelled my xbox live account today cause im going to mod

and the guy on the phone said i cannot get a refund because i got the 12 pre paid month kit

i was only 4 months in and should of got 30 dollars back

cause im planning on put a 200 gb hd in the xbox

and that would break the marriage
i dont know much about that though

if M$ just would give me my money back then
i may buy something from them in the future

ok update

i just got a email from M$
and they said that i could reactivate my subscription

i think im going to try to play it safe

the reason i wanted a big hd was becuase i wanted my dvd movies right off the console

research on this i will

Could he keep the same GT if he got a new eeprom/HD?

I myself am debating between doing a HD swap with new eeprom with modchip, or getting an xtender to add a second and future third HD to use as the 'mod' drive, and leave the stock HD and eeprom alone.
The second route is more expensive (because of the xtender) but I'd have more space to work with in the long run... I'm on the fence.

you can still use the same account, to MS it will just look like you bought a new xbox, nothign wrong with that as far as MS is concerned

Hey if u dont care what happens to your live account u should have gotton on halo 2 and caused as much trouble as possible. I would have made a bomb that blows up the whole level or an smg that shoots rockets at least. Screw M$ for all anyone cares. just piss off some of thoes halo 2 game freaks.
