Cheapest Way To Go Wireless?

If your PC has a wireless card then you can use Windows ICS to share the internet connection with the XBox, leaving you only to purchase a wireless bridge for the xbox.

If it doesn't, then your best bet is a wireless router that your cable modem and pc would connect to and a wireless bridge for the xbox.

techbargains.com and edealinfo.com are 2 good sites to find bargains, wireless g routers have been coming up free after rebate a whole lot.

Get a Linksys WRT54G. Mines solid as a rock and loads of people will agree with me I'm sure. Besides you can run xlink kai on it too so you can network game without even having your PC on..... Awesome...

I don't know what's wrong guys, but it says I have no permission to edit my last msg???

EDIT: I was reading and Linksys says that its adapter on works on XP/2000, I guess also XBOX then?  I would like a linksys too, b/c I was a dependable one that has good speed with good range.  Or does that only depend on the router?

There are loads of different wireless setups out there.
The two main methods have already been mentioned.

Regarless, you CANNOT use a USB wireless adapter on your xbox, it doesn't have the drivers. you will need an ethernet wireless adapter (take a look at the Linksys WGA54G, thats what I use).

Essientially the xbox still thinks its wired but the ethernet wireless adpater makes the wire wireless. You plug one end of an ethernet wire into the xbox and the other into the ethernet wireless adapter.
