OK guys, so i put my v1.6 in a v1.0 case(oops) and then got the transistor replaced. Now when I try to play on live, im fine for like 5 minutes, then i start lagging really badly. Anybody got any ideas? Thanks!

As far as I knew, a 1.6 eeprom is only compatible with 1.6's. Unless that transistor you're saying you added would make them compatible?

I would apreciate it if you can link me to the transistor replacing thread so I can learn about that.

Yeah i put my 1.6 in a 1.0 case and it blew the transistor, so i had it replaced.

The transitor most likely has nothing at all to do with it.

I dont think its my ISP, cus my friend has Comcast and his is fine.

I have 2 possible problems:

1. The mobo is not screwed down where the AV cable plugs in.

2. My Ethernet cable is extremely long.

ugh, i say its comcrap, they suck, one house has a good signal th enext has a crap signal, theres no rhyme or reason to it, they also told this guy i know he cant use his xbox on their cable internet service and if he does his service will be cut off and his street adress blacklisted

Why dont you try taking your box to your friends house and test it on his connection. Also clear your cache. Most likely it has NOTHING to do with your hardware.

Yeah, i tired my friends xbox over here, and it was laggy.
