Throwing caution to the wind, I'm going to go on Halo 2 with my Ndure softmod installed. I'll let you know.

The scan is done in background, there's no text telling you it is scanning.
However, when I first tried to make a custom game I had to wait for it to finish checking my files.

Alright guys. I've got a Ndure modded box with an upgraded drive (120 gigs) with a couple of hacked xbe's on C and dashfiles on E. I deleted the update folder out of E that I'd already downloaded from 1.1 and the maps, just for safety. Connected, and not banned. I'm on matchmaking right now after redownloading every update and free map.

The update is for sure scanning your cache, and clearing it. When you go back on all your menu options are reset to the top (wherass before if you were playing team slayer the night before and got on the next day it would still be on team slayer)
Just a heads up if anyone noticed

Try HALO 2 for about 3 hours after downloading the update.
System is heavy modded with a softmod, with tons of apps
on the C: drive, and Linux on the E: drive.
No problems, everything ok.
My HALO 2 folders are 100% original.

it is 12:13 am in CA. I dnld the AU. and i played about 3 matchmaking games. during the 3rd game i got a Start Troubleshooter. I thought i was banned. I hit the start Trouble shooter and it checked for ip and cables and DNS and then xbox live everything was ok besides xbox live one it went to a Network error saying a list of things i could do to fix it.
I have gotten my old GT flagged before my old that is and i remember what it said. But this didt say anything about a modfiy or software. it was just a Network error. so i came down stairs to see what was up with the router and it seemed fined so I went on the computer to see if the interent was working and it was. So i was bogled. I am gonna wait and see what happens tomorrow. In my signature says everything that is on my Xbox. FYI this was my new GT is a completely new one with new eeprom and new hdd have been on xbl for about 2 months now with my GT.
