hey ozy when you say you want to get back to stock do you mean that you just want to use a stock hdd, or you want to return the entire xbox back to stock, ie no modchip no hacked bios, All you would need is a clean preped stock hdd, and a virgin eeprom. I think that slayer cd's have the option to rebuild to stock, and your good. hope it all works for ya.

If you think like me, that the AU will only target modded maps, you could, again, if you want, log in with your big HD and your homebrew on F etc... that way we can say "OK... this is only for the modded maps users".

What do you think?

Personally I just feel reverting to stock just until we get confirmed reports of whatever they're doing. Im gonna scrub my drive until Thursday just to be on the safe side.

personaly i have 2 boxes anyways.. all i use my modded for anymore is for xbmc. i dont like single player games so i have an extra box for live. I flashed my bios so saved $ on a chip.. no worries for me!

C ) You won't get banned from matchmaking if you cheat on HALO 2. (If you do, I hope you will get banned)

My guess is matchmaking is going to check a MD5 sum on the maps. If your MD5 sum is different, so matchmaking for you. It might do an advance scan every week or so. We'll see.

aw 1:28 here but i left my xbox at my new house im moving into, ANd i wont be able to get back till thurs at the earliest. I didnt know this was coming out so soon. Keep us posted Magnus, They did say that any modded xbox will get banned Lets hope they were just talking a big game to scare ppl off. If not I'll just get a hdd switch, hey mag you know of any good tuts for that?
