no editing on the fly will not work and it will ban you instantly. You have to get new eeprom. You can get one for 10$ in the b/s/t/ forum.

that is a possibility, but its also a possibility that your gamertag had been flagged. As long as you were using a stock hdd you were fine. Once you got a larger hdd, when they scanned it you were banned. So yesit is possible that you got a bad eeprom but its more likely that your gamertag was flagged and whene you logged in they scaned your hdd and it was a big'n

your gamertag can be flagged for many reasons, cheating swearing, bad feedback, not just for having a modded xbox. And that would make what happened to you make sense you can play on a stock hdd'd modded xbox with a gamertag, as they only check the size, but when you changed your hdd and eeprom , and brought your flagged gt over, it scanned you and saw that you had a large hdd. Then the banhammer hit.

You're definitley banned, I'm sorry to say.

You can get a virgin eeprom from Zodiiak at the Buy & Sell forum.

You'll also need a virgin HD, and if you want to keep your same gamertag, the HD has to be STOCK HD, other than that, a new gamertag will also be required.

we have a rough grasp of the codes but there is an xyz codes thread by fuzzy. That has the most info about it. maybe there is a way they stamped the map packs. llike its cd maps # 101010119817199171651 and the first person to come on with it get their eeprom stamped to the maps, if cd maps # 101010119817199171651 shows up on a nother xbox, it bans it, but im sure A LOT of people shared their cd, so that could be ruled out. Were you a modder? Was your gt flagged for cheating or foul language? those all can spell doom for a large hdd modded xbox. And its good to see your back on magnus its been a couple days. you dont need the eeprom chips to change the eeprom any more. There is a program Configuremagic that is made to change your eeprom. You just have to buy an eeprom .bin and load it on. Thats really good parenting. most people dont even know what their kids are saying online, and its usually the young ones that are dropping the f bomb all over the place.

there has to be a way to modify a ban eeprom to get back on live...there is no way zodiak modded that many xboxs of people who dont want to get on live..there are like 3000 posts in his b/s/t thread..

Well it is a get lucky kinda thing. M$ has a big database that stores all the eeproms that they have put on xbox's. The chances that you modify yours to match an eeprom of an xbox that has not been on live is slim to none. Zodiiak just does a lot of modding.
