that has nothing to do with softmodding or cheating. the problem you're having could be lots of things. can you sign onto live on your xbox dashboard?

i softmodded my box but i cant get into xbox live???

what method are you doing to use your original bios? coldbooting or turning off your softmod?

You can't play the game rom the hard drive.
2ndly just put the disk in the xbox turn it off, and turn it on in within the box.
