I think, either you modem for your xbox is almost broken, or you need a power cycle badly.

I'd suggest to try the power cycle:

1- Unplug the power cable from the back of your xbox for 10 minutes.
2- Unplug the power cable from the back of the modem you use for xbox live for about 5 minutes.
3- After the 10 minutes, plug the power cable back in your cable modem and wait until the lights in it stop blinking (testing).
4- Plug your xbox power cord, and turn your xbox on, set up time and date.
5- Go into your network settings, and set everything to automatic, now try to connect.
