Recently my F partition on my drive decided to die while backing up a game(Doom 3).  The C, E, X, Y, Z partitions all look normal to me still.  The problem is when my F partition drive gone the xecuter 4981.06 bios was forced to load the msdash.

I've reformatted just the F partition using slayer so everything is back as it was in the beginning with the same drive.

When I turn my modchip off and reboot to the msdash I cannot connect to xboxlive.  I know it is the MS bios loading since the logo shows.  I have played xboxlive before this whole f partition crashed.

I also have had automatic login disabled this whole time, so the xecuter bios was never logged into xbox live.

The xbox is pulling an ip address too.

Is it possible that the bios did something to the xboxdash.xbe since it was forced to load it when the hacked bios was running?

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated, i miss my xbox live!

Do you get any error message at all mate?

Does your M$ dashboard loads at all, or it freezes before you get to the menu ?
