X2 5032 With Xbit Dash Problem
« on: June 23, 2005, 10:45:00 AM »

I am trying to get my 1.0 xbox to booth to another dash other than xboxdash.xbe. I setup the x2config.ini file to look for "f:\XBMC\default.xbe" which only brought me too the default M$ bios. I booted from there with a boot disc and tried once again to make it booth from the f: root as in "f:\default.xbe". I got no where. My x2config.ini file is in the root of the f: and I know its been used since the flubber animation is what I set it to be. Do I need to retain the exact c: structure in order to be able to deactivate my chip and play on live and can I even boot from another partition or do I need to have all bootable dashboards on the c: partition? Any help would be great! Thanks ahead of time.
