Is that the message that you get when your account is banned?

I'm assuming that you didn't try with the modchip on, did you?

This is nothing to do with the Aladdin chip at all. You cannot connect to live with any chip enabled so it does not matter what modchip you have.
I strongly suspect the same as cubistproject, you have been trying to go on live with yuor chip enabled.
If thats the case you have a whole host of different problems now to get back on.

Have you played around with networking in evox ? go into the xbox live settings in ms dashboard and make sure everything is on AUTO. double check the cables !

Note: booting with eject is safe ... keep doing that for live.

If your chip is turned on and you press the eject button causing the MSDash to appear, THE CHIP IS STILL TURNED ON!  You CANNOT access Xbox LIVE with any modchip turned on.  If you do, your Xbox will be banned from Live forever.  Sorry!

Nothing to do with unleashX nothing to do with Aladdins or chips at all.
If you have been running live with the same account and the chip off and the same HDD an eeprom then you should not be banned .
This is an Xboxlive question and needs moving to that section

As long as when you hit eject the normal animation plays and there is no evox logo in the top corner and it says MS under the big X then your chip is off. The colours should all be plain green and the MS DASH should boot.

Now go and post some questions on the XBOX LIVE forum

Despite your assurances to the contrary. the modified hardware detected bit does indeed mean you have been onlive with the chip enabled or you have replaced the HDD since you first went on live and not replaced the eeprom at the same time.

Ya, it seems that my installer is not the brightest bulb in the pack.  He doesn't seems to know much about why it isn't working.  I guess he spends more time modding boxes for people that don't use live.

Anyways, I have been doing some research and it seems that if I update my EEprom, I may be good to go regarding getting onto live.

Is that true or do I also need to replace the harddrive?

This is now officially my 2nd hobby.

edit:  More reading and I found out that I need to have a unique EEprom and a unique Harddrive that has never been used on live.

Is that correct?
