i think if you just switch video output to NTSC without changing region youll be fine (i think)

do you already have an xbox? if so keep that one modded and just use th enew one stock on Live

and if you already have a gamertag you only need a new one if youve been banned before and want to use a large HD on Live

well i do knwo fro a fact you can change video output withot changing game region

what i dont know is if that change will get you banned

the philips in the 1.6s are even better than the old samsungs, you shoudl be glad if you get one

as for a "proper" chip opposed to a TSOP, what exactly do you need to do with it? i have a flashed TSOP myself and i personally have never found any need for anything more expensive, and ive done damn near every mod there is, lol (im very defensive of my TSOP)
