Just put evox in your F:/ and get a F;/ bootable bios.
Besides, M$ don't scan your HD, they cross check the HD model numbers.

well i've been fine with evox in c: the whole time, i'm just saying does this halo 2update bring some new protection against modchips or no?

edit: a hacked save is exactly what it says lol, a save that's hacked that allows you to do other things in the game, it's like a cheat/trainer sort of thing that let's u do certain glitches and stuff

and also, yeah i've been playing halo 2 since it first came out and haven't been banened ..i think because of th emarriage thing u had to do your hd at a certain point in time, and i modded my xbox so long ago

but i just heard somewhere that this new halo 2 update is bannign more people, is it, or does the case remain the same?

I'm finding out. Possibly. Scanning HD files only happen with a flagged gametag. Comparing HD model numbers with stock is at random.

Halo 2 could be doing HD model scans from now on because people are starting to piss bungie off by cheating, now you and me have to pay the price.

What's the point of this?

I haven't seen anybody get banned yet. Did any of you, who posted or started the thread, got banned?

Point them out since I haven't seen not even one post of somebody getting banned after the halo 2 update.

Newbs will see this thread, and will obviously start freaking out.

Cheerz mates!

Ok, 1 guy so far... I don't think that's enough... I'm wondering if he has one of those hacked gamesaves to unlock multiplayer maps and stuff... Bungie said they were as illegal as hacking software.... LOL...

Anyways... I still think that opening a thread asking who got banned just because of one dude is overreacting.

Like I said before, if it happens, it will be massively, and we'll be in the dark again just like on H2 day.

Don't freak out for 1 guy. And as ussual, you might be absolutley positive you'r chip was off, and that you never logged in with it on, and that kind of stuff... but remember... "To err is human"... and changes of human error are always there.

Good luck guys, take it easy.  wink.gif

So are Game Trainers considered "hacked saves."
Would that mean I should erase all my Trainers before going LIVE?
Let me know.
Thanks.

I have evox and msdash  on c:\; appz, backups, and emus on f:\ and g:\

running X-BIT with Xecutor2 4983.67 and a 250gb western digital HDD

I have not downloaded the update yet but I will when I go home in an hour and see if I get banned. I'll post results tomorrow in the AM.
