Well, from my own personal experience, I tried xbconnect a couple of times with Halo and it was people playing with the chip on, the ones that were flying and using invulnerability and stuff... wich pissed me off. I love xbox, and modchips, but I hate cheaters, so... if you can play moddifed maps and characters on xbconnect, as everybody knows you can... cheating is going to happen. And I say: Fuck that shit!

On xbox live, at least it's a controlled enviroment... no extreme cheating is done... except that stupid standby cheat, and that's why I stopped playing Halo 2.

I still enjoy games like GR2 for example... where people can glich sometimes... but really isn't as bad and frustrating as Halo 2 was turning.

Anyways... that's my point of view... the xbconnect idea is great, but if you play with cheaters, it makes you want to kick the hell out of your xbox, or start cheating to get them back, but then... where's the fun on that?

if modchips were allowed on live, theyre be cheating even more than there is now...its nice being able to download games and stuff though...xbconnect and xlink kai is alight, but it pisses me off when you play halo and ppl start with invisible and rocket launchers..cmon now

Actually everyone knows you cant go on live witrh ur modchip on, so thoses dumbies are banning us for no reason other than there own integrity, stating that a modded xbox is 10 times better than unmodded, but when the chip is disabled, its just another xbox, no benefits at all, and xbox live is only accesible through disabled mod, unless you dont have a live blocking bios.- ohh yeah xlink and xbconnect are nice, but its too much of a hassle to play, first turn on pc, then xbox, then take 10 mins to find an actual working game with no lag, then get ready for cheaters,- no point in trying, word of advice, dont get banned, cause it will cost you everything, i lost my 80 gig due to hd swapping for xboxlive, i ve been banned 3 times already, now all i have is a stock hd.

i always make sure to completely remove my smartxx whenever i go on live, and reinastall my original HD...im not going to risk it...i lost my original box to a fukin freak wire gone mad accident which ended up screwin up my mobo...im careful with my new box

its really not...i just unplug the chip from the pin header, and put it in a static proof bag...put back in my old HD, put everything back together and its fine...about 1-2 min of work
