Does it give a error number or something?

(SFAIK: the black screen with green writing in many languages but no error number means your box has the original kernel version, 3944; [ii] sounds like the dash can't access a file it requires [possibly due to an invalid checksum] eh.)

Try to connect in the Troubleshooter and then click on Help. Does it say anything?

"00C2 In your second Y code is almost definitely an unconformity in Eeprom info. This is caused by either editing the eeprom so that parts do not match, or other types of unmatching data (can be caused by replacing parts in the xbox or locking and unlock attempting with different things.)"

That's from the XYZ codes thread. I don't know what it means when it is first.

Ok, well I just tried my friends unmodded xbox and it works sad.gif

Does this mean the box has been banned? What can I do to get that code right?
