ok so we are playing on a brand new unmodded retail xbox now. but with the same gamertags as before that im pretty sure are flagged. are they flagged forever now or does the flag go away after playing on a retail xbox after a certain amount of time?

that what i suggested to my friend (its his xbox) but he didnt wanna fuck with it anymore so we just went to a local gamestop and bought a brand new xbox. coincidentally out of the 3 walmarts, 2 targets, and 4 eb games that told us they were completely out of xbox systems, the local gamestop down the street from my house had 3 brand new systems. we had a new one within 20 minutes of calling them, go figure.

How do you figure this is MS's fault? You are using their system to play on their service. They only want people with unmodded XBoxes on XBox Live, can you really blame them? Maybe if you weren't a stupid n00b you wouldn't have gotten banned. I was one of the people experimenting to prove the marriage theory, I read the forums everyday until I knew what to do, and I haven't been banned for 6 months. You are blaming MS, calling them gay, yet it was you who didn't research the topic properly. What you should have done is flash your EEPROM first, and then install the new hard drive. And as far as the shortage of XBoxes that seems weird, I can't go to a store without seeing an XBox.

yeah, i heard that too, but surely they'd lose more money when they produce their consoles and they are not bought at all...
