Yesterday XBLive banned me from live.
I can get a Eeprom from my friends xbox, which is same model bought at same day. I have only avalaunch installed to my xbox and I could't find any way how to get my Eeprom data out from the box with it. I installed ConfigMageg to my F: disk and did get all data with that. I'm seeing him today and going to get that eeprom data from hes xbox with same way, but I wonder is that a right way to do it. I'm getting his original hdd also and going to use it when I play at live, but I wonder can I get that Eeprom data with different HDD installed, when using ConfigMagig and I would't like to use that virgin HDD, because I would like to be sure there would not be any extra files in that when connecting to live again. (So I would't like to install anything extra to that hdd). I'm going to use my 160GB hdd to flash that Eeprom data I get from my friends Xbox, is this a working way or should I use orginal HDD:s when reading / writing eeprom ?
(I always played live with my original hdd and changed to 160 GB hdd when watching movies etc).
Sorry about my bad language, I'm in great hurry right now just going to get that eeprom from my friend. Hope I can get it this way. We both have SmartXX mods and there is a way get some eeprom data with that too, but i'm not sure is that the same. The thing i'm most worried is that if i read eeprom data from my friends xbox with not original hdd, is the eeprom data ok when using it with virgin original hdd.
If anybody can give me instructions how i have to do it' i would be wery pleasant.
