Retail Kernel Xbox Live Help

okay i have an xbox with a xenium ice. I have an upgraded unbanned hard drive, and an unbanned eeprom.  i went to xbox live on the retail kernel to register a new accound and it freezes while its loading... any ideas whats going on?
