Retail Hd Reformat With Disk.bin And Evov X

Just wondering if I reformat my retail hd using disk.bin (created by evox backup)
and evox format utility will I be ok for live.

Or

If I restore my retail drive using a backup created with hdd_driver will the drive be ok for live
