ok ive been reading a ton and think i am ready to do this, just a quick question or two.

was banned a few times, so im gonna revert to a stock drive and new unbanned eeprom.

the drive is from a friends halo edition xbox, the stock factory drive, not my original drive )1.0 xbox).  i want to do the following:

flash the new eeprom
lock the drive
play live

now, my question is this:  is there AYTHING i need to do to the drive before i connect to live?  any drive prep, programs, slayer stuff?
