I accidentaly logged into Live with my chip on. On Halo 2, I hit start, selected my profile, and then entered my password to log into Live, forgetting my chip was on. All it did was go back to the Main Menu very quickly that says "Press start to continue" or whatever. I turned off the chip, rebooted, and signed into Live just fine. Does it take time to get banned? I have an Xecuter 2.6 Lite chip. It says it has a "Live blocker", whatever that means. Will I be banned? I pray to God I won't be.

What chip you got? Because if I ever go to the Live dashboard with my chip on, it says "Cannot connect" or whatever. I've done that a ton of times and not banned. Maybe "Live Blocker" stops Live from connecting with it on?

Well, if I do get banned, at least my subscription runs out on January 28. My money won't be wasted, but it is going to fuckin suck. I've had this account for 2 years and I'll lose all my friends and stats and shit.

if you have a Live blocking bios it will (theoretically) prevent access to Live, and thus prevent banning

it sounds like your Live blocker worked (the trick is it fakes an unplugged ethernet cable) and prevented you from connecting

BTW, live blcoking it in the bios, not the chip

EDIT: even if you are banned you wont lose your stats and friends, MS only bans the xbox (eeprom and HD) not the gamertag, so you could just use account recovery on a new xbox to get back on Live

I have the Xecuter 4980.67 bios or something like that, and I think it has a Live blocker. Fuckin sweet. I'll try it tomorrow to see if I can log in. Woohoo. Thanks you bios.

Yeah, but I ain't buyin no new Xbox. I can just use a 2 month card and then do a 50 dollar year renewal, which I would have done on January 28 if this account does get banned.

Well, it has been close to 48 hours and I am still not banned. That is a good sign, right? It usually only takes 24 hours to get banned, correct?

yes you should be safe, i got banned 24 hours later, but i conected with my chip on, but the retail bios still booting up
