my third hard drive that i am putting in is a stock hd pulled right out of an old xbox.  It is not modded and has been on live for a long time and never got banned.  My chip is xenium ice but when i play the retail kernel from xenium os 2.2.1 i can connect to xbl easily.  All i need to kno is if i have the xenium ice off and using the stock hd for xbl will i get banned??  I kno they are scanning hd eeproms and hd keys, but are they scanning xbox motherboards for chips, even if the chip is turned off??  Thanks
