Hey peeps.. here's the deal.. I have cabel modem.. right... with a linksys router since sister has laptop for her college it's wireless and she's up stairs.. I was thinking of getting the XBOX wireless thing.. Im still thinking about it.. but it costs some money.. so I'm sure you can use your Linksys router if so HOW!!!! I have charter modem.. and on the back of the modem i can use a cabel wire.. or I can use instead of that a usb output plugg. now when i had WINDOWS XP HOME INSTALLED I could use both at the same time the (USB/ AND THE CABEL WIRE) and when you went to your my computer/controll panel/ Network settings if you used the usb thing.. another computer would show.. but it doesn't show in XP PRO. Wierd I'm not sure why? anyways... I only have 3 icons one is called "1394 Connection" not sure if it serves a purpose, another "Local Area Connection"

now, if i wanted to FTP my xbox.. I would have to manually go into the fucking LOCAL AREA CONNECTON go to TC/IP and put in the IP addy so i can set up my xbox so i can swap files.. before on XP HOME. I didn't have to do that.. I would actually leave a cable plug connection to my xbox. and surf the net at the same time now i can't any reason why??, I asked my friend to help me set up XBOX LIVE SO I CAN PLAY THRU MY ROUTER.. we did everything nothing works.. please help!!! I'm thinking of just getting the fucking  "XBOX WIRELESS" I got christmas money I've been dieing to get online anyways..
