I figured that one day someone will probably search up on this. So here it is:

If you have the USB CopperJet modem then your in big trouble with live. The modem was provided free when wanadoo was freeserve and has only caused problems.

Besides the constant amber ADSL light which means you have to reset 20 times before it decides to go green, theres more problems.

If you try to update games like Unreal Championships or Ghost Recon (the problem appears to happen on old games) it jjust wont update. I was furious for about 2 months until I rang M$. They said, basically, the modem is crap.

SO get rid of that rubbish modem, it will solve all your problems. I also heard that this happens to others. So if your games will just not update. It is most likely your modem.

Just and informative topic for those with problems.
