I've played with all sorts of ages, from 10 to 45. There are skilled and unskilled players in all ages. Granted, most skilled players fall in the ages between 17-26. I've played over 300 matches on XBL and I've yet to be betrayed on purpose (maybe I'm lucky). Sure, my teammates will throw a grenade in the middle of my head-to-head match with the other team every once in a while, but their just trying to help out. If they're being jackasses and not helping the team, I'll betray them.

To avoid noobs, just team up with some good people for a couple of days and get past level 15. However, you better be able to hold your own, or you'll see yourself back in the "kiddie" ranks.

Whats the big fucking deal.  If you don't like high pitched voices you can turn off the mic and don't play team talk through your TV.  Problems solved.

Mostly i just shut up and played but without voice comms online play is boring.

Also many people in CS and many online pc games didn't have a problem with me so why does xbox live/PS2 net?

a thought just occurred to me, to those who say 'what, you expect to play halo 2 online and not have any 12yo bitches" well, YES! halo 2 has an ESRB rating of M (for mature, not suitable for children under the age of 17)

this is just something pisses me off to no end, parents buy their impressionable 8-12 year old kids M rated games (especially GTA series) and then wonder why they start commiting crimes? then they want to blame the developers for making the game, if they would do some damn parenting and pay attention to what their kids are playing they might realize its not appropriate, the ESRB ratings just make it easier for them, they can look on the front of the box and know whats appropriate and whats not
