This is why I hate AMERICA because you guys have never really had much in terms of  customer service you allways assume you cant get anything back.

Sorry just had to moan!

Yeah killallhumans, stop being so negattive, CALL XBOX they will send you a free replacement they dont need no reciept just as long as you say you bought within a year and that (maybe u did not break it)  no one can hear you online. not even in the dashboard. infact while your at it say your joypad dont work too, they will send out a replacement for that too.

and Dont second guess what I am telling you, dont stutta and dont ask anyone else.
JUST DO IT like Nike.  I garantee you will be a happy guy after you come off the phone with XBOX.

Good thing you don't live here then... I have a funny feeling you would be getting your nancy ass beat down on a pretty regular basis if you did.

Well, it is so easy to replace the damn thing for free!   Go to a store buy a new headset, put the old broken one in the package and return as defective.  Fast and free!!!!!!!!!!!!!  They will send it back to MS and get credit for it anyway....the same as MS sending it to you, but you do not have to wait the month or so.
