It was a fresh store bought 80 gig, and an old unflagged gamer tag. Thats what I dont get.  Buuut. there is a games save from the halo 2 leak on there, hmmmm..

Oh by the way, I am still not banned on the xperiment drive. Nor do I think I will be. It appears multiple drives are the way to go if you got banned. And want to have a big drive still.

I am sure it was virgin. I got it from Zodiac, and I have gotten a few from him before with no problems. The one I used for my stock drive I got at the same time and all is well with it so, plus I was able to sign on with it, it just got banned faster than any I have seen yet. Boy, got to love this stuff. This is almost as much fun as playing an actual video game.  I mean I am actualy only did this for fun. I don't even play on live that often. I go in spurts lol.. What I am toying with now is taking the 80gig seagate hd out of my pc and formating it and sticking it in there. I am 99% sure this is the drive that I had in my xbox when it was "married" in the begining.  So then if I put the original eeprom and that drive back in it then it should work fine. Buuut, I am not so sure I have that eeprom around but if I look hard enough I think I can find a backup somwhere.  If I do It I will post what happens.  I was going to just change the hd key, but I know it will just get banned again unless I put in the same hd that was in there in the beginning.

By the way if  anyone has a mulitiple hd setup. I would leave all the drives you dont use on xbox live unlocked. That way you dont accidentally boot up and  sign on with one of them, thus getting your hd key banned.  I about shit myself when I thought back and wasn't sure if I switched but then I realized I never locked the others and then I thought that is exacly why I am not going to lock them now either, lol..

Happy Turkey Day Everyone!!    beerchug.gif

I don't think so, lots of people are fine with so called "dirty" drives

I can confirm that even when you have hacked stuff on C and E you will not be banned.

The only think that m$ check is if you have the "cookie"  serialofyoursxbox@xbox.com on the FAT table of your HD and if this is missing or different from the one they have recorded when you have register that xbox on xbl they will ban it.

Also I think that i you switch you EPROM and you do an account recovery before install the updates of xbl you can recover a banned xbox.

On my it work but was banned before the latest update of xbl so somebody should try to do it with a recent banned xbox or with an xbox after change the HD for see if it will always work.
