To hell with waiting im going in i just going to sign in and play Halo 2 i am going to take few precautions they are
1 every thing on f
2 delete all saves and every thing in t and u data
3 unplug my chip completly


I have a 200gb maxtor hardrive in there but im probaly married to it so no point worring about that little detail laugh.gif

If you've never been banned and signed up with that hd. You wont have any problems. Read my sig. I have stuff all over my hd and I havent been banned.

well this all points to good things for my first halo 2 login attempt tonight...

oh wait, did you end up leaving the chip in? if you removed it, did you leave the pinheader and/or d0 wire? i suppose it may have been a solderless adapter so that would be interesting too.

Lol still not banned i took the chip out completely but left my wires and pin header in there.

i am running a series of tests this week and your results show that i need to come up with new conditions for my second set of tests since they would only mimick your box conditions.

i was able to play on xbl last night too with my 4th gen chip disabled default booting to the m$ dash. this means positively that i received the dash update that initiated the marriage for my xbox at the release of sw battlefront in september 2004; i had not logged in since june 30, 2004.

this is going to sound wierd, but i kinda wish i had access to a banned gt to use while running test 2. i guess i will just cancel that test... unless i get i get banned while running test 1 over the next couple of days.
